SHAWA LUANGWA CAMP

Located on the banks of the Luangwa River, it is ideally located to explore both the Park and the Nsefu sector. Luangwa is home to the original walking safari. Experience the area on foot or via eVehicle with Jacob Shawa who was voted as Wanderlust’s top 8 best world professional guides in 2017.

Rates are per person sharing

Luxury Safari Tents & Family Tents $260 Tier 1      $215 Tier 2

Single Supplement 40% applies unless for booked on Tier 2 rates

Children rates:

No children younger that 9.

Children 9 - 15 pay 50%

Children 16+ adult rates apply

Children rates apply only if sharing with 2 adults

Includes:

Accommodation, meals, non-premium drinks and 2 activities per day as per activities listed below.

Excludes:

Premium drinks, flights/travel, activities not listed, laundry and other incidentals.

Service charge of 10%

1.5% tourism levy

Emergency evacuation

Park fees are $25 per person per day in the park (subject to change).

Airport transfers from Mfuwe International Airport at $55 per person.

Activities:

Morning and evening game drives.

Walking safaris when available.  Minimum age limit of 12 years old applies.

A selection of our of camp picnics and meals at an extra cost of $20 per person.

Shawa Luangwa Camp is a small, eco-friendly bush camp overlooking the Luangwa River in the Nsefu Sector. This is one of the park’s most untouched areas where excellent year-round game viewing and astonishing habitat diversity make it ideal for safaris by foot and vehicle.
