DIRECTIONS

Road from Livingstone to Chirundu is basically a full day. approx 10 hours. Turn right onto the D375, at Chrisikesi that heads towards Siavonga. From Siavonga they travel towards Chirundu along the D500. Our road is t the right about 40km from Siavonga. The D500 is a tar road in great condition, but I am not sure about the D375. Google says 6H15 minutes to our road and 440km.

DO NOT USE GOOGLE MAPS, YOU WILL GET VERY LOST. • From Lusaka, head towards Chirundu on the T2. • Turn right onto the Siavonga road that heads towards Kariba Dam (M12). • You will cross a bridge after a market in Lusitu. See map above. • Carry on straight through Lusitu for about 14km, crossing a smaller bridge (see map above) along the way. • You will find many charcoal sellers closer to the dirt road, and a section of potholes. These are followed by a corner to the left. • 400m from the corner you will find a turn off to the left, onto a dirt road in moderate condition. This graded dirt road leads straight to our gate. This road is 17km long. • Straight after taking the turn you will see a wire fence on the right-hand side of the road and a gate (unusual in Zambia, showing you that you are on the correct road), carry on straight along the graded dirt road alongside the fence which ends shortly. • You will see signs of the grader, mounds along the sides of the road. • The first Y junction, keep left. A minor village road heads off to the right.
